Playlist Update Monday Ep. 6

Something to look forward to on Mondays

My Thought Process Behind This

It’s Monday again and you already know what it is. It’s time to update your playlist. Luckily for you, a new episode of PUM is here. The sound of the last episode was kinda inspiring, so I decided to go with it in this one as well. Let’s dive right into it!

Like I said, I wanted to explore the sound I focused on in the last episode a little more. I went on and started looking for even more artists representing that experimental, melodic trap style. I feel like the EDM trap sound in general is falling off a little bit, which I think is a pity. That’s why I hope you will re-discover it through this series.

A thing that happened to me was, that when I was going through Skybreak’s songs for this list, I found out he made a song with CloudNone. That’s actually a new artist I discovered very recently. The funny thing is, that I thought he didn’t make anything harder you know, but then I found Feeling Free and I knew that’s what I was looking for.

Picking the last track was also pretty funny, I went through this whole playlist and I only ended up liking one song which was Scars by Deft. Sometimes it takes a little longer to find what I’m looking for, but that’s just how it is I guess. I will definitely dedicate more Playlist Update Mondays to the EDM trap sound, so stay tuned if that’s what you like! Anyway, the episode is ready and I hope you’ll enjoy it. Have a great time and take care!

Tracklist

So, you have something new to listen to during this week.

Note: Don’t forget to add these to your playlist!

Exclusive Spotify Playlist

This playlist is my baby. I cultivate it all the time and add new discoveries as well as the tracks from this series. It’s basically a representation of this series and my music taste in general. Haters will say my selection is questionable, but they just don’t get it. If you know, you know. The title says it all. That’s all I’m gonna say.

Here you go. Even more tracks to listen to. Thank me later 🙂

Note: What do you think about all this? Let me know in the comments! I read all of them.
