My Thought Process Behind This

Hi mate! What did you eat for breakfast today? I’m sure it was delicious! I’ve got to start my Monday with fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, and tomatoes, a classic Australian brekky. Yummy! I have some Australian musical goodies for you in this episode as well. A little breakfast for your ears if you will lol. Enjoy!

I’ve always felt like a bunch of incredible EDM tracks were being made in Australia. Artists like Flume, What So Not, and my favorite Alison Wonderland (who all reached legend status by now) come to mind. The impact these Australian talents had on the international electronic music scene was massive in their prime in the mid-2010s, and they continue to bring fresh air to the game.

There is much more the Aussie scene has to offer tho, and that’s what I would like to concentrate on in this episode. Let’s take a look at some lesser-known artists with distinct sounds, that deserve more recognition for pushing the electronic music envelope further. Artists who are not afraid to step outside the box and bring something new to the table, even at the cost of the music not being well received by the fans.

Stylewise this list is a mess. Sorry lol. The connection here is pretty much just the nationality of the artists. But don’t worry, you came here to discover some dope chunes, and that’s exactly what these Australian artists will give you. A little weird, loud, Australian bass music will always have a special place in my heart, and I think it will win your heart too.

Note: It took me more time than expected to find Australian music producers, the toughest part was finding producers of bass music, which I personally resonate with. I definitely wouldn’t mind finding more of them tho, so if you have any discovery you don’t mind sharing, please do so in the comments! I’d be happy to check it out.
